UniSport’s new class UniHetki provides a relaxing break in the middle of your busy day
Constant interruptions or running from one meeting to another, are a part of our daily lives. Several studies have suggested, that short naps, mindful moments or just simple quiet pauses improve vitality and cognitive performance. If you cannot take a moment to unwind at your own workplace, UniHetki provides a guided relaxation class. UniHetki offers the chance to take a moment to yourself and relax.
UniHetki is a combination of independent and guided relaxation
The UniHetki class is 30 minutes long. It aims to provide a relaxing moment in the middle of day-to-day stresses. The class starts with a 15-minute guided meditation or calming activity, which is followed by independent relaxation. The class ends with slowly waking up and continuing the day. The most important thing is to focus on the moment, and let your mind and body relax. Exercise mats and blankets are provided in the class. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing. The class in held in Finnish.
Reservations for the free UniHetki classes in December are open
UniHetki classes are held starting January 2nd, 2019 on Mondays at 12-12.30 and Thursdays at 13.15-13.45 in UniSport Kluuvi, Yliopistonkatu 4. The UniHetki class is one of the 40 group training classes included in the UniSport training card, along with gym training and ball sports. You can also participate in the class using a 10-visit card or by paying a per-visit fee.
The free introductory classes are held on Monday December 17th at 12-12.30 and on Thursday December 20th at 13.15-13.45. The classes have room for 25 participants. Reserve a place in the class at: www.uusi.unisport.fi
Our light room Kajastus located at UniSport Otaniemi (Otaranta 6, Espoo) also provides a space for those, who want to unwind. It is open according to the location’s working hours.
